  • 1999 16.2 h QH gelding
  • Diagnosed with navicular syndrome on left front hoof in Oct 2008
  • Trained in Western Pleasure, Hunter, Showmanship
  • History of violent bucking behavior since purchase
  • Had excessively long toes & heels in both fronts (over 2 inches), causing incorrect toe loading (often typical for navicular)
  • Visibly off on left front in Nov 2008
  • Already looked sound in Jan 2009
  • Horse was on a 4 week trim schedule, but not worked regularly during this time and with limited turnout
