• Uncontrolled Cushing's disease (no diet control or drugs)
• Cushing's hooves (uncontrolled) tend to have forward running hoof growth & lack of sole concavity (due to weak laminae)
• She has 24/7 turnout on pasture with open stall
• Mare is sound unless she experiences a flare up on spring grasses but will recover when turnout is restricted during this time
